Bible References:

Romans 14:1-11 ( KJV ) 1Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.  2For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.  3Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.  4Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.  5One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.  6He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.  7For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.  8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.  9For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.  10But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  11For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

James 1:1-5 ( KJV ) 1James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. 2My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;  3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.  4But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.  5If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

2 Timothy 2:1-2 ( KJV ) 1Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.  2And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Ephesians 4:11-14 ( KJV ) 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;  12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:  14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Hebrews 4:1-11 ( KJV ) 1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.  2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it 3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.  4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.  5And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.  6Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:  7Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.  8For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.  9There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.  10For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. 11Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

John 5:17-30 ( KJV ) 17But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.  18Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.  19Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.  20For the Father loveth the Son, and showeth him all things that himself doeth: and he will show him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.  21For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.  22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:  23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.  24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.  25Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.  26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;  27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.  28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,  29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.  30I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
