Bible References

Romans 2:1-29 ( KJV ) 1Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.  2But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.  3And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?  4Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?  5But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;  6Who will render to every man according to his deeds:  7To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:  8But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,  9Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;  10But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:  11For there is no respect of persons with God.  12For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;  13(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.  14For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:  15Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)  16In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. 17Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,  18And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;  19And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,  20An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.  21Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?  22Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?  23Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?  24For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.  25For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.  26Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?  27And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?  28For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:  29But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Matthew 5:44-45 ( KJV ) 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;  45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

Romans 10:6-10 ( KJV ) 6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above🙂  7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)  8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ( KJV ) 1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.  2And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.  3And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

Romans 10:13-19 ( KJV ) 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?  17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.  18But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.  19But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Ephesians 4:28 ( KJV ) 28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
