This pie is so simple. I made it for the first time the other day as a birthday dinner request for my daughter. Here is How I did it:
I ran out of bread but I had some amazing ingredients and so I took it and made one of my favorite sandwiches — Reubens in New Mexico.
This is a lovely buttery pie crust that is great for baked or unbaked pies. Flaky and light.
It doesn’t really have to be the beginning of a new year to make this delicious soup but it seems like every year around this time I make some New Year’s Bean Soup. I call it that because it’s right around then I see that ham bone from Christmas in the freezer. Here’s my recipe…
