I love slaw but Marzetti’s dressing (the best dressing for slaw on this planet!) is a little pricy. So, to save a couple pennies I use the following recipe and really, it is hard to tell the difference. Give it a try yourself:
Ingredients:
2 Cups mayonnaise
2/3 cups sugar
1/4 cup white distilled vinegar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
Celery salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients together until they are smooth and creamy and sugar is completely dissolved. Use what you need on your favorite slaw, mine is here: Fruity Coleslaw. Store unused portion in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.
